The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a Public bus service connecting the neighboring emirates to the Global Village, so that the residents can now reach their popular entertainment destination without having to rely on private transport.

Buses that connect the Dubai’s attraction to Al Ain, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi have now begun operating several times through the day and also provide passengers the opportunity to avail a discount of fifty percent in the entrance ticket of Global Village. The discount will be granted on producing the bus ticket.

The CEO of the Public Transport Agency, Obeid Al Mulla mentioned that the authorities are planning to make their services available to all emirates and cities shortly, by expanding transport networks.

The first trip begins at 2pm from Abu Dhabi, and thereafter the buses will leave the capital every hour with last bus departing at 5pm. Return trips start at 8.30pm till 11.30pm. The schedule is the same for buses running between Global Village and Al Ain. Also, from Sharjah, the first bus starts at 2.30pm, thereafter there are buses at an interval of one hour each and the last trip departs at 6.30pm.
