Tawdheef Recruitment Show in UAE opens up opportunities galore

With both private and public sector firms in the UAE, getting ready to increase their headcounts, to keep pace with their growing business, the UAE economy will get back on track.

The forthcoming recruitment expo, Tawdheef Recruitment Show, to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, to be held from 31st January 2012 to 2nd February 2012, will see several new vacancies being released and filled up in the market. The vacancies will be open to nationals and other nationalities.

Companies from both government and private sector will be on a hiring spree during the exhibition, as per the available data on the website.

Among the departments and companies who have already announced vacant positions are Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, Mubadala, Dolphin Energy, National Health Insurance Company (Daman), HSBC, Emirates NBD, Sawaaed Employment, Oasis Hospital, Khalifa University, Petrofac Emirates, Millennium Copthrone Hotels, Tawazun, First Select UAE, Ershaad and Emiratis Jobs.

Local banks will also be hiring UAE nationals to maintain their nationalization quotas, says statement from the banks. For instance, Emirates NBD plans to increase its staff strength by 250 nationals this year.

According to experts, the UAE job market was in a better shape last year, in comparison to the year before, as the local economy improved, and employer sentiment got stronger. Experts are of the belief that the turmoil in few parts of the region was one of the important events in shaping the job market in 2011.

The Gulf Recruitment Group, in its recent report, mentioned that the job market in the UAE grew last year, and will continue to grow this year too, with companies expecting improved business activity.

The Tawdheef Recruitment Show will open up more than 315 vacancies for other nationalities too. There will be 60 jobs from the global bank HSBC, for junior, middle and senior management executives. Also, 50 other vacancies will be available for administrative and academic positions at Tawdheef.

Sawaaed Employment, the recruitment agency, has also announced about 100 new jobs to be available at the show, open for all nationals.

The first two days of the show are reserved exclusively for Emirati job seekers, and the final day is open to other nationalities.
